The casino was opened on 12 April 1934 at Kurhaus in Baden-Baden in Austria near Vienna. It was the first all year round casino in Austria when it opened. There is a very good restaurant within the Casino with a good choice of food. They have a buffet every Wednesday and Thursday evening.

Take the Baden exit on the A2 onto the A21, then follow the green signs. Exit the A21 at Mayerling through Helenental to Baden. When you get to Baden just keep following the green signs.
You can get a bus or taxi from Vienna, it takes about half an hour.
